spending threshold

hi. does anybody know when they count the 3 months to spend on the platinum amex? if i got the card on 8/29, but started spending on 9/5 when are the 3 months up? also does anybody know what to do to get the extra 75k for the platinum amex?

does a a double charge (charged twice) then credited, count towards Spending Thresholds??

Even after the statement closes??
Booked a ticket and the travel agent charged me twice will waiting till the statement  posts make a diff.
