Di it yourself Auto Mechanics
« on: September 12, 2011, 07:32:15 PM »
I'd like to do some minor repairs on my car (the diagnosis was done by a mechanic, so I know the exact promlem). Does anybody know of a good book or a good website that I can use to lead me step by step through a mechanical repair?
Thanx

there are many youtube videos that show various mechanical projects in a hands-on format.

No I didn't.
I found this site, they charge $12 for all available diagrams for my vehicle. I just not sure if its legit. - http://www.freeautomechanic.com/wiringdiagrams.html

if you go for it, put it on an Amex, in case you need to dispute it...

I don't have amex right due to f/r.
From previous experience,  when disputing such a small amount, most cc companies give an instant credit without even doing an investigation.

the domain name is under private registration, so you can't even see who they are from whois, but it looks a bit dodgy...
