What are the chances of someone with a Credit Score of 640 getting approved for a 0% APR CC?

And what would be the best card to go for?
If it's due to high balances, it's possible with high income. Especially with a pre approval.

Such a score doesn't tell a complete story. What's the reason for the score being there?

I'd say the chances for 0% APR for BT are slim to none. Might get 0% APR on purchases but not on Balance Transfers. And CL is likely to be quite small.
It's due to high ratio on CL vs balances. They won't be doing a BT, it would be In new spending
If it's due to high balances, it's possible with high income. Especially with a pre approval.
Income vs balances will be ok.

Try Citi's pre approval page.

I tried BB &t soft pull, was pre approved for 3 cards, 2 have 0% apr for 15 months

Anyone know any details? What kind of credit line could I expect? My fico is about 710

Otherwise was looking at Wells Fargo 18 months 0% apr

Any data on these cards ?

I have none. Never dealt with BB&T.

I am guessing CL size will depend on your income and ratios.

i just got a pre screened offer and when i applied, got approved for 0% 13 months from BBVA ClearPoints Credit Card... $10k
+ $100 statement credit after $1500 spend. i am looking at some purchases that i would carry for a while so this is a solid option

there is also a new card called ollocard.com - might be worth looking into. i think they have no fee BT

Both PNC and Wells Fargo keep sending me 18 month 0% apr offers. Could use it. Which is better?

Recently got a 20 month offer from peoples bank. Think they will still do it these days? Also in general can you balance transfer from business card to a personal card?

There's a lot going through the accounts and it should be good.

No need to cross post 7 times in other threads.

1) you need to cut up your credit cards. And not open any new ones.
2) Hire a financial consultant
3) call the banks to ask for a reduction in interest.
4) any milage or points you have pay it towards your balance.
5) take out a low interest loan to pay your credit cards that have high interest.

You made the first good decision to ask for help.
Now you need to continue getting it in order.
Wish you best of luck

3) call the banks to ask for a reduction in interest.

5) take out a low interest loan to pay your credit cards that have high interest.
Let's set expectations straight.

REALITY CHECK: Extremely unlikely to get any low interest rate loan with a 590 credit score. Also IME the banks are more likely to settle for less than owed (after a complete default) than to lower the interest rate for someone with a credit score below 600.
