Stopped reading when I got to this "Because glyphosate is known to the State of California to cause cancer"
I'm not who you think I am.

I am skeptical as the the reliability of that article as 9t kept pointing out that things were GMO. Considering that there's zero evidence that GMOs are bad, yet they felt the need to continuously point them out anyway.

There's an important relationship between many GMOs and glyphosate. Whether or not GMOs are dangerous in and of themselves, they are dangerous because of this relationship.

I had one at the end of March at Pizza World in LA. Anybody know if that would have been 1.0 or 2.0?

There's an important relationship between many GMOs and glyphosate. Whether or not GMOs are dangerous in and of themselves, they are dangerous because of this relationship.
To elaborate:

"Roundup Ready crops are crops genetically modified to be resistant to the herbicide Roundup. Roundup is the brand-name of a herbicide produced by Monsanto. Its active ingredient glyphosate was patented in the 1970s. Roundup is widely used by both people in their backyards and farmers in their fields. Roundup Ready plants are resistant to Roundup, so farmers that plant these seeds must use Roundup to keep other weeds from growing in their fields."

Source:   http://web.mit.edu/demoscience/Monsanto/about.html

This means that GMO foods, especially soy and the like, are MUCH more likely to contain glyphosate---the whole purpose of them being GMO is to allow them to use glyphosate to kill weeds, without harmimg the GMO plant.

Was it a 2 or a 5 out of 10?

This may be true but it's important not to conflate that with GMO's being inherently bad.

More clearly, if a soy product is GMO, almost by definition, it will contain glyphosate.  Other possible "side effects" of eating GMOs aside, the glyphosate is a serious enough issue on its own.

Trying ≠ eating.

Like a wine tasting? You chewed it up and then spit it back out onto the plate?

All over the news too. Wasn't specifically "non animal based" but included lab grown meats in addition to plant based meats.
