Search and you shall find your answers

We took the train from the airport to cadorna which was around 10 euro and 40 minutes. We then took the metro 3 stops to duomo where the park hyatt is located just a short walk from.

After landing I took the Malpensa Express to Cadorna station and then a quick taxi over to the Park Hyatt.

Either one of these options is good. Personally I did the second one but if I ever go back will do the first one, train plus metro instead of taxi.

every time I went I took the bus,  Was wondering if the train is a better option.

The Duomo is pretty neat and the area around is just nice to walk around. That being said, I'd leave and go to the lake an hour away.

There's not much there, go to duomo, and walk around the shopping complex

Depends what you call near, all the places are in the same area in town, around 45 minutes away minimum
