For Denzel the burger was pretty good. Try to go to Re Solomone, was very good. Look at my Trip Report upthread for suggestions there.

What's the kashrus situation in milan

There are a bunch of kosher places to eat. And at least one of the bigger supermarkets in the Jewish area has some kosher products as well.

I've only eaten at My Kafe and Caramels. Caramels was better in my opinion.
My Kafe has a better vibe- nicer, cleaner etc.
Caramels food was better IME.
My KAFE sells gelato as well.
My KAFE has longer hours as well IME.

I never got to any fleishig places.

They are a 5 minute walk away from each other.

Nearby is a kosher bakery as well that sells many kosher products (not sure the hechsher on the baked good themselves) and a supermarket nearby that sells kosher products.

Here's my opinions:

My Kafe - excellent place for brunch/lunch. Amazing drinks, food (pizza, salad, etc), and really good ice cream. It's a regular cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Everything was very fresh, made on the spot but not a long wait.
Carmel - wasn't too impressed with either food or service, it was ok but nothing amazing
Re Salamone - Had to take it to go but it was really great food. Don't remember exactly what we ordered but everything we got was good. (Hard to find parking nearby).

We didn't do anything in Milan itself except sleep and eat (and walk along the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele near the PH)
we did 3 day trips - to Lake Como, to Stresa and the islands, and to Locarno
any questions about those places I'd be glad to answer

If I have about 5 hours of time to do something in Milan what should I do? I will be landing in Milan late at night. Staying in park hyatt and leaving next day on train at 5:00 pm. Also if anyone can recommend a good place to get lunch?

sleep. Milan is a boring city. Or you can just go to the shopping center by the duomo.
Eat lunch by Carmel but don't get the pizza

+1
really nothing-we shopped a bit and went to the "palace" there-which was a total waste of time!

The Milan Duomo itself is quite amazing and worth taking a glimpse at in my opinion.
