My home: PASSAIC NJ
--I have large kid-friendly home in Passaic NJ, centrally located near multiple shuls, kosher stores, eateries, and public transportation, strictly kosher (OU, OK, Chof-K), including access to minivan, plenty of toys, bikes, & yard with swings/slides/etc. . .

Seeking DENVER/WEST COAST:
--Looking to swap for house near shul, that can accommodate 8-person family, ideally with access to car.

DATES:
--Last 2 weeks of Aug (Aug 18-31, or part of that period)

Interesting thread idea. I think most will be looking to swap east coast to west coast and not the other way around.

I am just curious and not looking to stir the pot, but when one does a house swap or rents a kosher home, how does one trust the kashrus of the kitchen etc...?

For starters you can request no pots or silverware be used, etc.

our yeshiva rented a mizrachi campus bnei akiva for the summer, the board asked the ruv if they should kasher the kithcen since they use hecshairim that wouldn't be permitted in yeshiva,
the ruv said

There is kosherbnb too (www.koshnb.com) but that's different than a house swap.

only thing i need house to b kosher for is the oven. and even that i can technically manage without. the draw for me is the swap - meaning no outlay of money

Same here. It’s also that I’d be uncomfortable with someone not strictly kosher using my kitchen/home.

For Yomtov there are many ppl that swap or rent out their apt/houses. I always put down restrictions for the families that came.
