I emailed them the request and got matched the next day.

Maybe he can pop in and switch during the rental?

Platinum card gives Marriott bonvoy gold elite (Instant over the phone)

I matched that Marriott to National via the national website (took a few days) and then national to hertz via email (next day).
Now with covid-19 everything is backed up.
Don't try to be someone else , be who you are because everyone else is taken.

I think they released on online form to submit docs so no need to email them. I think it's faster now but prob still backed up.

I found email to be faster, but that way a while ago.
Doesn't hurt to do both

I got matched (via email) months ago. My license was expired so changed the expiration date on my profile to a few years from now. (Allowed to drive bc my Governor extended all licenses when he closed the MVA due to Covid.)

Picked up a rental from the airport and their system showed Gold Status Suspended. I always rent above board so confused as to why.... they agreed to rent but forced me to pay an upgrade fee. I showed them my status in the app + called corporate on speakerphone but the agent claimed he couldn't override the system. 


After returning I called up corporate to complain about being charged for an extra day (The agent was dishonest and didn't scan until the next day.) And the PC desk recommended status matching again, which I did. I finally got a new license and updated my Hertz Profile. What should I expect when going to pick up a car? Will they give me trouble?
