This is available again as the member (not sure if I am allowed to post who it was) who was supposed to buy it just stopped answering me when trying to arrange an exchange time.

He certainly seemed interested and ready to take the coins, but tbh I’m not seeing a clear commitment on your part or his. Did you communicate previously via DDF PMs (or something else)?

Not trying to get into your business, but there was a situation here recently where someone thought a seller had committed to them and after talking to the seller and reviewing what was said it turns out they misunderstood.

Really sounds like the guy that told me the same thing. This is how the converstaion went:
I wanted $300, He said $270, I said no, $275? I answered $280. He asked me if I have them in hand, So I responded yes. He answered OK, we'll be in touch.
2 days later I asked any update he answered me: Hi sorry was really busy today Will bli neder reach out to u tom. And that's the last time he answered my text, After calling him he came up with dif. reasons what he's waiting for until the answer was his buyer backed out....
Might not be a full commitment, but in other words he said he will buy...

In your case it never sounded like he will actually take it, he did say he'll be in touch (maybe to find out whether he can take it).
I messaged someone, he told me we'll be in touch later that day cuz he has to check if his buyer is taking it, but never answered message again... which caused me to lose some other offers (I can't blame him since he never committed).

I had similar story (maybe same guy) he always said   bezras hashem I'll pick it up, and then totally ignored my messages. Is this naftali1856?
I personally don't care if you back out for a reason, but at least respond to messages.
