My experience selling a silver coin recently- I decided to sell on Thurs night, posted here at $500 and didn't get any replies, changed it to $475, still no replies.

Messaged 7 people total who were buying at different points (some here, some on whatsapp). Four said they're not buying anymore, one offered $425, one $350 and one $200 (lol!). Sold to @Ysilby95 for $425.

Just posting this here in case it helps anyone figure out where the market is at...

I’m not in this buisness I work with a coin dealer and he still wants so when my price drops everyone’s does. Not to many ppl are buying it anymore. The price will drop tomorrow again...

Because he has a buyer lined up at <$500, and he’s flipping. At $500 he’ll sell a bunch to you, implying he isn’t committed to his buyer.

Almost all of the 70 graded gold coins sold on ebay are from a seller named "mintmarkcoins1" in Lakewood. Anyone know which buyer that is?

I'm just putting it out there, it's important to remember that if you own a coin and are looking to sell, to do some research. There is some biased going on here.

They want to grade them ASAP they could wait 2 weeks for the coins to be half price that’s why the pay a premium in the beginning so they can have a grade on them right away so they can sell it and make money

Your allegations are simply ridiculous. I have no idea who that other guy is. Part of an open market is buyers and sellers presenting their case for why prices should be higher or lower. Nobody here is hiding their motives and everyone is entitled to voice their opinions. Many people here are first time buyers and have no clue how this market works. People don’t know how grading works or aren’t aware that there are cut off dates for first strike labeling etc and that dealers need time for holiday turnaround. I pointed out a few days ago that prices were falling and that’s exactly what has happened. Here, on eBay and everywhere else.

You’re basically walking into an auction house and “accusing” the buyer of buyers bias. Do your own research and buy/sell to whoever gives you the best bid.
