I agree with this. But at the same time, there has to be a better system, or the local buyers will just continue increasing their prices to be near the offer which @Moshe_N secures, and that's not fair to him and his work.

While I understand the desire by the local buyers to pay as little as possible, what they are doing seems a little unscrupulous to me.

I appreciate it @Agoldsc1 . Worst comes to worst, this will be a learning opportunity for me and I will try to plan all the details in advance. As of now, there are still a solid amount of people that are signed onto the deal. The broker will be calling me within the hour to give me prices for the other coins as well as a contract to guarantee the amount for the number of coins I will be offering him.

Please don't do that.. broadcasting a live location while carrying tens of thousands of dollars in uninsured coins in an unarmored vehicle isn't the best idea.

I feel it important to share my viewpoint as I'm sure others feel the same.

The community wanted someone​ to put together a group that would give a bigger part of the profit to the people. @Moshe_N offered to do exactly that, he didn't do a single transaction yet but he already forced the other buyers to raise their prices with some even matching the $5000 price.
Now is our opportunity to work this out so we can have a chance in future deals as well.
If it's not worth the risk/reward for you, feel free to take a cheaper drop-off deal. If you have any suggestions or ideas how to make this more tempting for more to join feel free to post it.

I don't think @Dan should help out with the deal as PFS is a paying advertiser with him, and this is obviously against their interest.

Thank you for this @DGMW . I agree with everything you said. As far as tracking the shipment, I was just trying to make the idea seem more appealing and safe to others. Happy to hear any/all suggestions to make this better.

As an update, the coin broker is waiting to hear back about the other coins as well as the guaranteed price for the 4 coin set. Once this is confirmed, I will email all those that confirmed and find convenient drop off locations for the coin.

100% this. If we find a way to make this work, then all sellers are in a much better position for any future deals. Simply taking a matching offer from a local buyer is very shortsighted.

Quick question to all of the hesitating to work with Moshe folks:

If you can get a more secure deal with only ~15-20% discount, why don't you go ahead and do it? If you are not willing to take any risk, you can't expect to get maximum return.
