not quite you need to deduct fees and shipping costs so your 2500 is maybe 2100

also i thought on ebay it was prohibited from selling anything that will not ship within 30 days so how can buyers presale now

you can find a buyer offline willing to match eBay fairly easy saving himself said tax

Also, I think that buyers are willing to pay a small premium for buying in person and avoid the risks inherent to e-Bay.

Looks like the buying groups were really trying to lowball the actual buyers here.
