Not a chance. The vast majority of free trials are garbage and hoping you forget to cancel. You're only thinking of larger companies maybe.

For example? What's similar to this? Something that doesn't give you all functions or that you use more often isn't the same. Also something that is easy to continuously get a new trial for.
This would be the equivalent of having a free trial of top airline status that you can easily churn every time you fly, or a free trial of a business class seat.

Just about every online subscription service I can think of from ExpertFlyer to Amazon Prime to Netflix.

What in the world does this have to do with elite status or a business class seat??

You don't get full access with Expert flyer, one of the big attractions are the alerts. It's an ongoing service and not one time.

Amazon can and will eventually track you, a large pain to avoid that.

Netflix I am not familiar with but yes, assuming you use it once or twice a year you have a point, although I doubt it's used like that.

This is a service that the vast majority will use once or twice a year at, that provides you every thing you need. The crowd that is interested in it enough to pay for it and use it on a frequent basis is small. They need the people using it once or twice.
Why won't you say that if people like the status enough then they will pay for it or work towards it?

i actually had a conversation with a friend of mine about this site the other week in Shul.
He said he paid the $10 for and found the site very useful. was worth the 'investment'.

I was poking around myself as i have few bookings i need to make, and am intending on paying the $10 to try it out.

As with any such service, they’re probably hoping to finance ongoing development/expansion (supporting additional airlines, features etc) to be sponsored by subscribers. They went live with a decent lineup, but from the little bit I know it feels like EF offers much more than JM currently does.

I second the notion for a review from Dan. If they turn down Dan’s request for free access so he can review their product, they’re essentially admitting they don’t think it’s up to par and aren’t confident enough in their own product to get free positive exposure.

As for multi-date search, it’s definitely valuable but it exponentially complicates the search algorithm/complexity.

I used it for 2 trip plannings. It makes life easier having one place to search as well as figuring out which transfer partners are cheapest for any given flight. Also nice that they display the taxes/fees most of the time. Only annoying thing was I planned an entire trip around some availability on JuicyMiles that didn't exist. They had it on all their star alliance partners but all were phantom in reality. AwardNexus and others did not show it as available.

Theirs. They show availability on Lifemiles but Avianca doesn't show anything for that flight. Not sure where they get their data or how often it's updated.
