I'd be just as interested in finding an alternate explanation, because this makes me extremely uncomfortable.

There has undeniably been an increase in anti-Semitic incidents in the news.

I was too hoping to read something more to this story, but even American Airlines is confirming the story

A statement from American Airlines officials to the Free Press stated, "The Adler family were asked to deplane last night after several passengers, along with our crew members, complained about their body odor. The family were provided hotel accommodations and meals, and rebooked on a flight to Detroit today."

I was on an AA flight from ORD-PHL and was laying across two seats napping and flatulated and a stewardess came over and sprayed air freshener in my direction lol

To me the saddest part is reading all the nasty comments that follow on these news websites. Brings out the anti semites out of the woodworks. Such hate!  On second thought , we did kinda get very comfortable here in galus U.S.A. , kinda makes me feel like it’s a kick in the pants to remind us where we are.

Honestly, I would probably have done the same. I'm not a seasoned traveler and if a flight crew member demanded that I leave the plane I would probably have been confused, overwhelmed, feebly protesting but compliant. It would take some time for the outrage to set it.

I am not saying not to comply, but still ask for a reason. The common guidance when stopped by a cop, is to fully comply, but ask why you were pulled over, that is a very important part, and is 100% legitimate. So much more so when being asked to come of an aircraft.

A few years ago I was stuck in Y on AZ on my way back from TLV, and had a bochur sitting next to me. At some point he took off his shoes, and the stench was unbearable. I tried to cope for a few minutes, but then gave up and politely asked him to put on his shoes. I honestly can't understand how he could bear the odor himself.

I wish I had the AA steward at shacharis this morning. Guy behind me flatulated four different times spread evenly over the course of the minyan. Would've been nice for someone to give him the boot.
