If I want to transfer points from my Marriott account to my wifes or vis versa is there a fee or is it free.

In SPG it could be done for free, as long as the house address is the same.  Whats the story with Marriott?

Members can transfer up to a maximum of 100,000 Points per calendar year between any two accounts in good standing that have each been open for at least sixty (60) days, whether sending or receiving Points.

Correct, but I think that for immediate bookings they allow more than 100k , but not sure what is the limit, if any?

There is no charge for sharing points. You may transfer up to 100,000 points per calendar year and receive up to 500,000 per calendar year.

I think we should discuss transferring other types of points between family members, not just Marriott.

Most reps will only do 1k increments. Pre merger- I've had a rep once transfer 500 points too.
