anybody actually buy this and have their kids use it? Seems way less safe than an electric scooter, or even a hoverboard...
+1
I was going to buy this, but it does not look very safe....
I did buy one, and even tested it myself.
I'm a bit over the weight limit, so stopped after a few tries, not interested in making a claim with amex within the 1st week that I got this new toy.
Kids enjoyed it, but the younger ones who are within the weight capacity are scared to go on it, a rib-stick they have no problem using, it's this electric skateboard which their scared to use as it has a remote to make the board move with is kind of different from all other electric wheels I owned.
Once you get the hang of it, it's as simple as pie, took me the first try to master it, as simple as riding a two wheeler, or I'm making it a bit easier than it is?!
Also there was a recall on these boards some time back as the wheel would lock on you, meaning when you push with the remote down its a brake, so this coaster board supposedly would brake randomly while using.
Overall it's worth the $39-$40 and time will tell how long it lasts.
why is this hot?
Because the original price was quote on quote $100.
