Conference Room Screen and Camera Set Up
« on: February 01, 2019, 10:54:07 AM »
There is an increase in the need of having video conferences in our company. Ideally I would get a mobile stand for the screen.

My question is what webcam should I buy? It needs to be clear enough so the people working remotely can see clearly the whole team in the room. It's not a big room, and the screen would be close to the table, not far enough for a typical webcam. I probably need something with a 90 degree angle.

I would appreciate and comments and suggestions.

Where you have to see multiple people that don't sit directly across the camera

The product page says:

Choose from three field of view settings to perfectly frame your video. For an ideal head and shoulders shot, pick 65 degrees. For larger groups or to capture more of the room, choose 78 or 90 degrees.
90° should be good for a room. Of course, 120° is even better for that, but cameras like that are prohibitively expensive.
