What can I do with this?
"More reliable and durable than a hard drive
Multiple capacities with space for applications or a hard drive replacement."

Could I/ should I use this as a backup for my computer?

Yes, but it is more expensive than a traditional hdd by storage, which if only used once daily is a fine first backup. It is a good drive to use a network connected storage device which you would connect to often and use the same files on many devices. It would be a good drive to add to a computer as a boot drive which stores the operating system and commonly used programs.

No, don't use it for backup, SSDs are less reliable and much harder to recover.
