There is endless use cases. Since I use a Samsung I use their routines to turn on auto rotate for specific apps, have different amount of times the screen should stay on for, and different battery charging speed based on different factors. That's just the simple stuff. Using tasker I've made many cool automations some more useful / realistic then others.
Most recently made a way to log a call to Salesforce once a phone call ends. Gotta think of something that you find annoying or repetitive and create something. If you don't find it annoying you probably won't find it as useful.
this is the kind of post I was looking for bc it’s true if I can’t think of anything I need to automate I prob don’t need it, which is why I was looking to see what other users came up with that might decide I need as well
As for log a call to salesforce, well what do you know, I’m an admin in a law firm always looking for ways to automate the work for my case staff.
Are you having the phone log into salesforce on the phone itself and sending the info there? You’re sending an email ? I’m curious!
