Perhaps an iPhone SE (2nd edition, a/k/a SE 2020 or SE 2) might be a better bet for you. It's a pretty recent processor, so likely to be getting iOS updates for longer than the iPhone 8. Another option to consider if you value screen size and battery life enough to pay a bit more is the iPhone XR.

Every time I try tracking my Airtag more than 5 feet away it says
Connected. Signal is weak. Try moving to a different location.
Is the problem caused by the Airtag or the phone?

Is there a good app to identify screws? From my google search I see that Amazon's "part finder," had some buzz in 2018 but as I far as I can tell, they removed that feature from the app. Any suggestions?

Iphone Se (2020). Phone keeps resetting. Analytics show many entries for:
ResetCounter
PanicFull
JetsamEvent

The phone doesn't stay on long enough to update software. Tried Forced Reset, updating all apps, and draining the battery. Any other tips?

Is it jailbroken? (If yes try safe mode)

Have you tried recovery mode?

Is there a way to limit the frequency of notification alerts? For example, I may be part of a conversation on Teams, and my phone and Apple Watch is blowing up every time someone writes a message.

If I turn off notifications, I'll probably miss the conversation completely. But if I can limit the amount of alerts of an app to once in every X minutes, it would remind me to check the conversation without having an overload of notifications.

I have a certain Israeli number that I sent text messages to when I had an Israeli SIM in my phone.
The Israeli carrier I was using forced me to use the local format. Now whenever I try to send an sms to that number from the US, the iPhone converts the number to a local Israeli format (starting with 0) even if I enter the entire number using international dialing format (+972...) resulting in me being unable to send text messages to that number.

Anyone have a solution for this?
