BEWARE: Lufthansa "Kosher" from FRA loses kashrus.

A bunch of years ago I flew Lufthansa, I called the OU, they told me the Rav of Frankfurt (might be different one then now) hechsher is pure tarfus.
On the plane an ehrliche frum Jew seated near me was eating the meat, I told him what the OU told me, he points to the hechsher, and says "Frankfurter Rav", I told him, "you know the Pnei Yehoshua isn't the Rav in Frankfurt anymore?", the guy just continued on with his meal.

Also true. They would never call something tarfus, they would just say that they don't recommend the hechsher.

That's the way I remember it, I don't suppose you've spoken to every OU CSR. I remember calling OU, a lady picked up and gave me that answer.

Sounds atypical and like she wouldn't last long at the OU.

I'm not saying that the hechsher is good now, just that things have definitely changed since then, more than once from what I've seen

MUC usually worse than from FRA as it is often frozen

Even if it was ok - glad I brought my own - there was a tiny roll, spoonful of "salad" and rubbery eggs that make Hamasbia look lavish.
