Curious if anyone ever asked a shaila. Last time I was in the KC/Qatar club, there were self serve items (dips, chumus, etc), and I saw a goy take some and put on his plate which had nonkosher food on it. He then returned the serving spoon back into the self serve bowl. Don't know if it touched anything.... (I know that Yankees legends they are makpid to serve you and there is no self serve, so u won't have this issue...)

the workers are trained to always tell people that they need a new plate if they see they come from the non kosher section even the non Jewish workers. But it’s a good point. Especially with Covid there’s no reason to allow self serve.
