Usually the kosher kitsch comes into play with Asian Restaurant names:
Shulchan Low
Estihana (a play on the Japanese chain Benihana)
Mee-Tsu-Yan
I also always wondered how Carlos and Gabby's got their name - was it because the founders were Chaim and Gavriel, or was it a play on the hispanic couple in 'Desperate Housewives' that was popular when it opened.
But the most Ironic - almost every city with a kosher population (especially so in the NY Area) in the US has a Jerusalem Pizza - which makes no sense to me, since, AFAIK Pizza isn't inherently a Jerusalem thing. And when you go to Jerusalem, the most touristy, american-style pizza place is called - Big Apple
