Collect united judgment

A friend won a few thousand dollar judgement against united when her flight was cancelled and they were refusing to book her and her family something normal.

However now when she tried to collect she is finding that she can't because apparently the marshalls can't pull the money out of a bank account without having the account number.

Does anyone happen to have ever gotten a check from united and still has a copy/scan of it or happens to know their bank account #?  Please PM.

If she knows the bank she can serve an informational subpoena on the bank and they will have to provide the account number.

If you buy a fully refundable ticket with cash at the ticket counter (not all airports take cash),can you cancel and they'll send you a check?
