We got up bright and early, and decided to go to Isla Mujeres. At about 11am we left our hotel, took the bus for 10 minutes and went off at the boat station called Gran Puerto.
We got tickets and caught the next ship. They run every 30 minutes. The ride was bumpy as hell, it was a rainy day and very very windy. The way took about 30 minutes.
Once we got there we tried to rent a Golf Cart. We went to a few places and all of them asked for driver’s license. I left mine in the hotel room. I was starting to get upset that I would have to go back without seeing the island. After trying every single rental for a while we finally found a place that didn’t ask for license, but they asked for my hotel room key. I gave it to him and they charged $20.00 an hour, we took it for 2 hours.
It’s a nice island, full of souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. You can spend a couple of hours there. We were looking for the kosher restaurant but no one knew where it is. We found a meat place that sells falafel but we were looking for a pizza store. The falafel store showed us where to go.
The dairy place is called Café Maya! We ordered a pizza pie, a sandwich and drinks. We had to wait quiet long as they make everything fresh but the pizza was insanely delicious, the sandwich too! We spent about an hour there. We continued to tour the island with our golf car, they have nice beaches. We returned the car and returned to Cancun. It’s a nice island if you have the time, but it’s not a must!
That night we ate our own food as we were still full from lunch!

We got up and headed straight to the beach as it was our last day there. We had a 2pm AA flight to JFK.
Overall it’s a beautiful Island, with many fun places to visit, beautiful beaches to relax at and delicious kosher food!
