The following states provide a free state tax return in partnership with private software companies via the Free File Alliance: AR, AZ, DC, GA, IA, ID, IN, KY, MA, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NY, OR, RI, SC, VA, VT, WV. Most of the tax software companies below provide a free federal return to active military personnel with an AGI of $66,000 or less."

Has anyone used H&R's free software?
Is there any benefit of premium paid software? Do they find any more credits?
I looked at the free federal and it seemd to have all the works. W2, all the 1099's and helpful with claiming business expenses, mortgage & tax form, EIC, 1095-A etc.
And allows free e-filing
