Can't you click on "request full site"
No idea how to set that as default though.

AP mobile site doesn't have that option.
(I specifically need AP)

It doesn't on my optimus. Oh well  :(

Is there an app for opera mini?
I used to have it on my non-smartphone, but now that my is smart  ;) I forgot that it existed.
Btw I tried on dolphin and skyfire and it doesn't give me the option.

Its a new feature for ICS link. galaxy s2 is still on gingerbread. The best option would be to use a third party browser like dolphin or opera(which imo works a lot better than stock browser anyway)

Here are the list of cons I can come up with
I don't know about all your issues but I have this phone for a few months and it sure is rock solid the best phone in my experience, Forums and blogs rate it at a very competitive level with the Iphone with some saying its even better the the iphone.
As far as your problems go, I would say that your not updated with the firmware, try to update and see if all these problems will still be nagging you. I have the same exact phone with sprint and have none of these issues u mentioned.
Go to Settings/About phone check if you have android version 2.3.6

1> When I get a text or email theres no 1 on the icon.
I have a 1 on text, on email you will only get a 1 on the email app but not on the gmail app.
2>How to save skype password and not have to manually enter it in each time. My other android/apple phones did it automatically.open skype go to settings first thing on top is sign in automatically, check that, (you also have this option every time you sign out you will see this:"Exit and sign me in when skype starts?" check that too)
3> A decent unlock screen widget? I downloaded a widget which makes you draw a pattern to unlock ...ok but cud do alot betterNo need to download a widget as it comes built in to phone, go to settings/location and security scroll down to screen unlock settings check use visible pattern.
4>wifi signal very weak. in my experience its much better then other phones, it connects in less then 2 seconds to all my routers at home/office etc.. with no lag at all.
5>the 4g zzzz's when not in use. While usually it 'awakes' quite easily, at times it wont; like when I am using voice action. Any way of un'zzzing' it? Dont know about that I dont mind it, it always wakes up when I need it.
6>how to get the auto-rotate screen on/off switch by the wifi/4g/gps/bluetooth options on the notification screen. The samsung galaxy att has it installed already....Thats something I would love too.

----------------
2: The graphics are a little bit too big and simple. HTC sense is def better. Sometimes I feel like they made the phone for an old woman. Right but dosn't bother me, because I can see it from far away, very useful when driving.
3. When texting using swype the text box bounces up and down as the word suggestions are given. I have found that annoying.By me its shows side by side on very nice strip top of keyboard, make sure your'e using swype version 3.25.91.... maybe its outdated by you.
4. Theres no restart option just shut downYou can add a restart widget on the home screen if it helps.

Only real con is the Longest android but still short battery life but I solved this with $12 Bucks, see here
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280791901572&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:1123
I dont think their real samsung stuff but still well worth $3 ea.

u can also use printshare used it for a while, not as good as cloud print though.

A very usefull widget that I have is this
http://www.appbrain.com/app/power-control-plus-(widget)/com.siriusapplications.eclairwidgets
It lets you have all your main settings on your home screen, like restart auto rotate screen and much more.

Get it free here
http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=439&t=284851&hilit=Power+control

You can also get this tiny app for free, gives you just a button,

I noticed something interesting on my samsung galaxy s 2 . Basically whenever I would restart my phone or shut it down and start up again manually, the battery  would lose at least 15 percent. Is this normal?

seems like your battery file may be messed up, here's an experiment: Try doing it over and over, does it keep on losing 15% ?

The phone keeps a log of your battery stats which if corrupted can explain sudden percentage drops.

Do it three times and see if it always eats up more or less the same amount.

Does printshare work via Wifi? I am looking for an app which allows to print via Wifi network printers that way I wouldnt even need a pc. All I would have to do is join the shared wifi and print directly from my phone!

no, printshare needs to be installed on a Pc.
Googles cloud print has a list of printers that can be accessed via wifi without a Pc.

Ya I think I checked but the printer which I use, Konica Minolta, is not on the list... You mentioned a bit back that you bought that 3 battery and charger kit for $12. I noticed its being shipped from Hong Kong. How long did it take for you to get them? Also, what are the lives of these batteries..are they as good as the OEM ones? The other option is to get it straight from Samsung but its $50
