Are these foods allowed in carry on luggage
« on: February 22, 2019, 12:23:33 PM »
Only allowed a carry on bag. I want to bring tuna in a pouch and Amazing Meal from Meal Mart. Would these be allowed to go through?

DW flew yesterday and for some reason at EWR TSA told everyone to remove all FOOD from carry on luggage, and place it in the bin. She had some candies that they 'caught' in her handbag, and the wanded each one.

Been like that for while already , not sure the reason but if they ask for that don't mind, as long as i can still keep my pants and socks on and go through i'm fine.

Flying out of IAD last Pesach a bag of laffy taffies set off the detector when tsa official found it he just laughed it off and it put back. Asked why it set it off he said sometimes "shinier" things like the cellophane [of the bag] might  have set it off.
