Continental Changes in December

I'm still a bit confused as to what is changing come December time with Continental's merger to United.
   If I book a reservation today with Continental do I still have the option to change flights for free as long as its over 21 days within the flight? Even after December?

 Or what if I book after December?

According to the chart here it looks like United lets you change your flights without a fee EVEN within the 21 days.    Am I reading this correct?

Correct.  But UA charges for routing changes, CO does not.

If I book the ticket now and come June I want to change the routing will they hold by Continental's Policy still?
