Shady travel sites
« on: February 25, 2017, 10:40:55 PM »
Anyone ever heard of flightnetwork.com? I was rerouted there from momondo.com it was considerably less expensive then the next option. I have a feeling it's a shady site. They wanna charge me in Canadian dollars with a foreign transaction fee. Thank you.

So bookwithmatrix shows flightnetwork having my ticket for that cheap price which shows on Ita, would i expect my multi city fare to have the same baggage allowance throughout the whole trip? even though it involves four different airlines? The first airline offers 2 bags free, and the trip ends in Canada. i believe if it was possible/available to book on priceline, it would have the whole ticket on one itinerary/PNR, thereby abiding to the rules of the first flight. so in short, is flightnetwork going to issue me one single reservation number, that would be able to pulled up on a single page, whereby allowing for that baggage allowance to be carried throughout the trip? TIA
Make stuff happen.

Momondo is a scammy sight google them.
Momondo.com was bought by one of the other major OTAs (can't remember at the moment which).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I have no idea if they're shady or not, but varying baggage allowances definitely doesn't make them so...

If your flights are operated by 4 different airlines, you can have completely different baggage rules for each airline.

Besides the fact that even an itinerary that has a single PNR and shows as one continueos trip, can still have separate ticket numbers, which makes them completely separate tickets.
