Fareboom or Best Travel Store--has anybody used them?

Hello:

I heard about a fantastic deal that was only available via consolidators (not online travel agencies). I have not used a consolidator for ages and learned from a member from another forum that he just used Fareboom (also known as Best Travel Store) for the first time.

Has anybody used them? What was your experience?

I have used BTS for both a hotel and a flight in the past. Both bookings were without issue.  Never used Fareboom, but am aware of it.

I’ve used fareboom two months ago for flights, no problems at all.

I booked with fareboom NYC-ZRH-NYC on Swiss in August for $618. Everyone wanted much more. Found it through skyscanner.de incognito.
8 tickets. All come up on Swiss website.
I don't foresee any problems.

For 8 tickets, I would have tried a good TA..You booked Basic Economy?

That fare sounds like basic economy (K class). No changes or refunds. Fly or lose.
$60 for first checked bag per pax per direction.

Regular TA would likely be higher (just so he can earn a living). Fareboom made between $5-$10 per ticket. They are happy with that since its all done automatically through the website.
