Similar to Anti Trump... I believe Pro Trumpers are at this point harming the fight against progressivism by leaving that as the point of contention and not picking someone else to lead the fight. In Israel OTOH, IMO there is no easy pick to replace Bibi in that role.

Bibi is a rare kind of person with multiple talents and abilities converging.

There are some (potentially) great people with great talents and abilities, but no one that I can see with everything he has in one person (a very thick skin being an important quality, along with the right type of conviction).

Even in the US, you might have some great people, but one really needs a very thick skin and strong convictions in order to do the right thing. For example: I think Mike Pence has great conviction, but I don't think he has the character and charisma for the job. Nikki Haley seems promising, but is her skin thick enough?

My comments on this video:

1. Regardless of what he says "not representing Chabad", the fact that he agrees to such an interview with a big picture of the Rebbe behind him is a travesty! This should have not occurred.

2. Whatever went on 32 years ago is very different from what goes on today. 1990 was pre Oslo accords, the landscape was different (also the minimum threshold to get into the Knesset was different).

3. He's a fool for getting involved, and a bigger fool for backing Ayelet Shaked - who might be one of the people most at fault for the current situation and outgoing government (of which she is a member).

Regarding point #1, I think you misunderstood him. I believe he's claiming to represent the Rebbe, not the establishment and the Mosdos etc.
I'm not commenting whether his remarks are correct or not.

Would either party make it to the knesset with independent runs? They are polling around 6-7 together. You need 4 seats minimum to get in, which means they would somehow get to 8 separately. Would they join a coalition together? I feel like this is handing Liberman and the left wing a huge win.
