They need 3.25% of total vote cast. That is why they are saying that Shaked helped Bibi. She got enough votes that caused the threshold to be higher since most of her voters would have stayed home. She actually predicted this would happen and explains why Netanyahu never said a word to her about dropping out.

Lapid "conceded defeat"? He never had a chance. The only reason he got to the position in the first place was by getting some right-wing parties such as bennet and saar to backstab their voters into making a lefty government. Lapid never had a chance to get even 2/3's of the seats needed to form a coelition.

reminds me of a few years back when bm was disqualified for running for the kneset. there were rumors running that as an answer to that, he may be appointed as a minister w/o having to run.
i bumped into him in chevron one of those days, and i said to him something like "when u are a minister u wouldnt let the arabs get away with XYZ"
he answered me in the softest tone of voice "when i will be a minister, they wont be doing XYZ because they wont be here"

Trying to understand why are they upset at him? He stole their thunder? He just acted smarter so he had a chance.
