The parade is definitely happening. The test if Hamas is bluffing or will attack, and how the swindler’s government will respond. It’s looking like Hamas is toning down their threats from missiles to incendiary balloons.

I think that the Likud has a wrong message saying this is a stolen government. It's not accurate and makes them sound like Trump. What they should be saying is this is a government which doesn't reflect the will of the electorate and isn't reflective of the results of the election.

I am not generally super charedi politically, but it makes me want to vomit when I hear super modern rabbis supporting the new government because charedim had too much power on the previous one.  I will have no sympathy for them when this government shows it's colors on religion

TBH the way some of the Charedi politicians have been talking recently makes me want to vomit (Arye Deri seemingly the exception, maintaining a civil yet firm and focused discourse).

Litzman could have conveyed the message of hoping the current government will fall while coming across more mature and civilized in his words to Elkin. I can't say that the way Litzman and Gafni have been expressing themselves seems to be מרבה כבוד שמים.

The sad part about it is that when it comes to actions, the Charedi politicians are probably better than most others in doing things for the good of ALL, but the second they open their mouth (Again, with Deri and possibly some other Shas MKs, the exception) they sound so sectorial and divisive that one would feel a need to disassociate from them.

They are a huge disgrace. Opposing a national inquiry into meiron, the current bribe scandal, Malka Leifer, jobs for the boys, Gafni funneling money every which way he desires in ועדת הכספים, The list is endless. Maybe you can say everyone else is just as bad. To me they just aren't, and even it they were it doesn't make it any less disgusting.

IDK. I don't live there and don't watch day-to-day (אני לא חי שם...) but IIRC when Litzman was in the MOH he was quite popular with the general public.

I am not familiar with all the details of the Malika Leifer story. Not judging based on headlines. I might personally dislike Litzman, Gafni and a bunch of others, but if I were ever there on the day of an election I might have still voted for them despite personal dislike (and possibly ideological differences). Hence why I am glad to never have had that נסיון.

Just received the following video today. This is in such stark contrast to the way the Charedi politicians are behaving/talking. It is possible to disagree and maintain a dialog that doesn't build resentment.

A lot of the charedi establishment in Israel sees mutual resentment as a beneficial contribution to maintaining a barrier and preventing negative influence.

It is a polar opposite of Chabad, and while extreme the difference in positions was already illustrated by  Yehousha who mingled with the Mergalim to help them as opposed to Caleb who isolated himself to preserve his own righteousness.
