from twitter - UA1273 seems like the first flight to be affected by the US grounding, flight was taxing
Status: We're sorry for returning to the gate. Your flight is delayed because of a recent order by the Federal Aviation Administration to ground all 737 MAX aircraft. We are working on options to get you on your way.
This is so strange.
This is a new type of aircraft with a new black box, with new software. We cant do it, BFU spokesman Germout Freitag said.
Seems reasonable.
So why was it sent there in the first place?
ET are worried that US is biased and will lean towards pilot error?
I understand why ET might be worried, but Germany/EU are biased as well.
In ETs favor.

Seems like France will do it
Even worse...
Stock shrugs
The only risk still out there is that this temporary ban will turn into a permanent ban, which is a very small risk, which is probably why the stock is unchanged on the news today.
