Crisis management PR expertise is desperately needed at this point. Can't really say that US airlines excel at that.
I remember when the Intel Pentium processor came out and someone found a flaw which would affect 1 in 9b calculations but Intel batched the response terribly. People were saying the reason why they called it the pentium instead of the 586 was because when they added 100 to 486 the result was 585.9999999999999999999

I am guessing that parking at LHR is a little more costly than parking at SYZ. And in this case they had the choice of flying it to its home base.

Just saw from Kol Haolim that no bodies have been found yet....The plane "only" fell around 1600 feet how could there be no bodies?

Thanks for posting. I think Boeing made/is making a PR mistake by not being ahead of all this, suggesting grounding, rather than waiting for regulators.
