Heard such rumors too. "Pesach in a box". Not sure what's included or how it works.

Any recommendations for a good haggada for preparing for kids seder?
If you don't care why would you comment?

[/size]I tell my wife there is no concept in halacha of "cleaning" for Pesach, only searching for chametz. Cleaning is only necessary in places that might come in contact with food on Pesach, and to the extent cleaning is necessary to make searching possible.Agree?
You need to search for Chometz wherever there may be chometz in the house. According to Reb Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, once you cleaned you do not need bedika (probably because it is now considered בדוק). So technically you are right that only the kitchen and eating areas need cleaning. But if you don't clean your closets etc, you MUST do a bedika thoroughly especially if you have young children in th house.

Correct. I'm differentiating between bedika and cleaning.

do you have the source? The mechaber clearly writes that you have to be bodek , even if you have already cleaned. תלג:יא

Three things:
1-The kitchen takes longer than you think. Leave yourself plenty of time to kasher and cover AFTER the cleaning is all done.
2-Preparing for the seder also takes time.
3-Don't forget that everyone needs to eat on Erev Pesach. Some ideas: vegetable soup, potato knishes, fried hamburgers and yapchik.

For the record, you are allowed to eat kneidlach on erev pesach! and believe it or not, they are not Chametz! Although whose of us who are makpid on gebrokts (myself included) would need a pot to cook it in.

שלמי מועד page שיא I will rephrase what I said, it seems like he is assuming/asserting that the cleaning is also including a bedika that the person makes sure that there is no Chametz there.

Nope. See below. Also, I heard that when he did Bedika he would ask his family if this drawer was cleaned, if the answer was yes then he would move on to the next drawer and ask and so on.

Nope. Look it up. I will try to see if I can get a pic up. Also, I heard that when he did Bedika he would ask his family if this drawer was cleaned, if the answer was yes then he would move on to the next drawer and ask and so on.
interesting. The point of bedikS chometz is to confirm that everything was indeed cleaned well. Sort of like a conformation scan.

11 and under. Also trying to figure out how to keep both bigger and smaller ones engaged. 11 and 9 enjoy deeper content but that goes above the heads of the younger ones.

From the Star-K website:
https://www.star-k.org/articles/articles/seasonal/357/the-busiest-day-of-the-year-the-laws-of-erev-pesach/
Quote
Products containing matzoh meal that are baked (e.g. matzoh meal cake) may not be eaten all day Erev Pesach. Kosher for Passover matzoh meal products that are cooked (e.g. knaidlach) may be eaten until the beginning of the 10th halachic hour of the day- three halachic hours before sunset.

One who does not eat gebrochts on Pesach may only eat knaidlach and other cooked matzoh meal products until the latest time for eating chometz. He may not eat baked matzoh meal products all day.
