At bingo I asked the cashier to scan the item and place it directly in the box.
Good thing about bingo, you can practically check yourself out without passing the cashier's belt

evergreen tent in Monsey is exclusively KFP
Motty's supermarket (18 College Rd) also has a separate KFP store.
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

Growing up, I remember all the stores made a full separation.
It’s also easier to make proper boundaries with the employees this way.

RYBs every year mentions the old lady in the Judaica store knitting a matza cover while eating a pita.

I have a gas range (metal grates) but the area around the grates is glass.
So I'm looking to cover the glass.
I'm told that aluminum foil is dangerous, risking glass breaking.
Any suggestions?
I see https://www.walmart.com/ip/Non-Stick-Gas-Stove-Burner-Covers-Range-Protectors-Glass-Hob-Cooker-0-12mm-Double-Thickness-Reusable-Top-Liner-Easy-Clean-Square-4-Pack-black/460134663.
Would that be okay for glass? Seems like it's for metal.

Anywhere in Brooklyn??

bothers me as well. I found a place in Willy. Can’t remember which block. It’s a long block and I think it has one of those urgent cares.

Maybe someone here knows what I’m talking about.

You can also use this https://www.google.com/search?q=tornado+vs+4&oq=torn&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j69i60j69i59.3075j0j7&client=ms-android-tmus-us-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
The only steamer I know that sprays boiling water (as opposed to steam)
Thinking about getting a group together to buy one of these (at this point would have to be for next year) to share. Is it pashut that this is as good halachically as hot water+even meluban? How practical is it for a home user to effectively kasher ss sinks and/or granite countertops, especially in comparison to how effective the average joe at home is with other methods?

it's definitely roschin al ha'aish
Ask your Rav what his thoughts are. .
Very easy to use though not a well made machine.
Especially not fir the price.
I'm working with several people to create a custom prototype does only what we need it to do. Nothing more, nothing less.
Hopefully we can bring it to market under $500

Went to pick this up today (intending to cut up and use for backsplash), the few pieces they had were all filthy - not worth the hassle. Maybe next year I'll remember earlier and check a nicer store (closest one to me is a little rundown).

Empty your vacuum cleaner before the zman.

Otherwise it's like trying to free up space on your phone and everything is getting saved to your trash folder.

(I am not saying this is halachically required)

Matza that's not kosher for Pesach can be eaten until Erev Pesach and those that only eat hand matza on Pesach can eat machine matza until Erev Pesach since it tastes different. Piskei Teshuvos 6 in Siman 47.

I've always stopped eating even Chometz Matzah from RC...

We're not supposed to say "the meat is for Pesach" because it sounds like it's a korban Pesach. If this was done by mistake then the meat is still fine. Rather say the meat is for Yom Tov. Siman 469:1 with MB.
