You peel all your tomatoes before Pesach?
No, but the hot water is only done before Pesach.

Easiest solution - no tomatoes on Pesach.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Get the wine glasses for the Seder

Yes and No. Get them, but get the smallest acceptable size based on the Halachic ruling you follow. So I'd say not those in the link.

+1. If you want nice glasses for pesach meals in general, go right ahead. But don't buy 12oz glasses to use for the 4 cups.

Easiest solution - no tomatoes on Pesach.
If your looking for Chumrahs start with matzo.
Typical Chosid Shoitah ( Not you of course)
Peels all their tomatoes , squeezes their own fruit ,
And ..Than buys the cheapest Matzos,
and is essentially “mishing” With the lowest standard bakery .

Similar to changing batteries on smoke detectors when clocks are moved, it's just a prompt to do something that might be done periodically. Or just a way for the store to get you to buy additional items and maybe get you into another aisle in the store.
