whenever I do a repair on my car I always seem to snap some of the retainer clips, so going online I thought would be the easiest, by searching for some retainer clips. but being that there's thousands of retainer fasteners and clips I have no clue where to start to find my exact retainer clip I need.

 Any ideas?
Mine looks like this , need  a few of these,

and 1 such piece like this, which holds the rod for the door handle/lock in place.

I found these which look very similar but I think the snaps are not the same as they seem to have four snaps while mine has two can't really tell from the picture.

Eta I think these are a match.

Yea, I'd suggest ebay. Used to do electrical work on cars that required taking off panels and always had pins/clips snap. Many of them are universal, and aren't always necessary.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Yup, that's what I did in the end, just very hard to tell from the pic if it matches, I would use any compatible part.
Looks like both those links I attached on the bottom are the correct parts.
 Thanks
I feel like a plumber I touch one part(the actuator) and then many other parts go wrong.
(the mashul for those that don't know how plumbing works, when your called for a small job to change one old pipe, you better make sure you got enough pipes for the whole sink or tub.. when you touch one pipe they all Crack and need to be replaced.

Places like AutoZone/Advance Auto usually carry an assortment of them. The dealer also has them.

Checked in auto zone had very random one but not the ones i needed.
Dealer is an option but the time and energy to go down there and pick up a few might be cheaper and easier to look online and order them.

They carry Dorman OEM parts. Surprised they didn't have them.
