I called customer service and asked them if I can use the service to pay someone 26,000 dollars. They quoted me the 10,000 daily limit and 50,000 in five days.

Based on this, I don't think their issue is large payments, but rather money going in and out of the account rapidly, and being withdrawn right away. Probably having the same amount go out as in all the time is suspicious as well.

They don't advertise GW as a bank; they advertise it as a way to send money, so why shouldn't one withdraw once he receives?

I'm aware of that... I was addressing itsyehuda's assertion that withdrawing right away - and not large transfers - is what sets them off.

I also based it on the verbiage in C&D letters, as well as the fact that the whole point of them doing this system is to have people keep balances in GW, at least for a while.
