Where to get New Bedding
« on: September 19, 2011, 10:59:24 PM »
Ok guys, I'm in need of some new linens-

I'm looking for COMFORTABLE and reasonably priced linens... I've tried BedBathandBeyond- and found some I liked at Eddie Bauer but they are all FLANNEL which I don't like...

Any other ideas? Where do you guys buy your linens?

Picked up some very soft high-thread count cotton twin bedding in BBB last week.
Was like something like $80, on clearance for $29.99, was $19.99 after a $10 off $30 coupon.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

BBB has a amazing return policy! Lifetime no questions asked! I was at BBB when a lady was trying to return an air-mattress she bought 10 years ago and didn't have a box or receipt (yes she was Jewish).  The issue CS was having was that it wasn't in the system and no one working at the store remembered ever selling that particular brand.  They ended up taking it back and giving her store credit. ;D

That is why I go to BBB.

How did they decide how much of a credit to give her?

Not sure.  She left satisfied.  Are you thinking about starting to return everything you don't need anymore regardless of where you bought it to BBB and demand credit?

No. I would never do that. And I would hope no in the forum's would either (although unfortunately that's probably not the case :( . Just curious to know how their policy works.

I always wondered about that - if I have $100 maser and I use a cc to give it to an organization,  is it my problem that they only get $97 of it?

According to oorah you have to deduct how much you would have paid for it from your maaser. There is a thread somewhere all about it i think

I believe He's saying that when you give $100 to a meshulach for an organization or something... that the organization is only getting a certain amount also because the meshulach takes his own "fees".

O
okay, usually the term"meshulach" is referring to somebody collecting for himself.
In any case, my question still remains - if he is collecting for an organization,  if I pay with cc the org will end up getting less than the amount of maser that I owe.
(The fact the org pays him I don't think is my problem. )
