Best Hotel Program for earning stays in Israel

Which is the best hotel program to start racking up points in for Reward nights in Israel?
Based on number of hotels and rating of hotels.

Does starwood dtill offer Hotels in Israel? I think I heard at one oint they stopped either some or all of the Israeli Sheratons.

LM Eilat, LM Dead Sea (for the time being), and 2 properties in Tel Aviv

Are you doing this via credit card points or actual stays?

Does status or free nights matter more?

What cities in Israel are you looking for?

In the U.S... and most through credit card points. Free nights matters more.
And Yerushalayim mostly  but other would be nice too (Hertziliya, Tiveria, Ashkelon)

There just aren't many American hotel chains in Israeli cities beyond Tel Aviv.  You can choose IHG - Priority Club.  It is easy to rack up points, but they have no significant discount for longer stays.

In the back of your pocket, you could start planning for a stay at the Waldorf Jerusalem.  Since it is not yet open, you might get enough Hilton points for a night or two once it does.

go with the Chase  Priority club rewards card  you get crown plaza, holiday inn, David intercontinental.
They have some great hotels and you get a signup of 60k!!
