I believe the Epic Privacy Browser is better than Brave.

Brave is a Chromium based browser with Tor integration (unlike the original Tor Browser which is Firefox based)? Is Tor automatic when using Brave?
It is not automatic.  It's an option. Along side New private window there is New private window with Tor.  Loads much faster than Tor browser does.

Ublock Origin + Ghostery Chrome extensions, there I just solved all your Chrome problems. (Well except for the RAM hogging part, I can't help you with that)

I use mostly Firefox for the simple tab groups add-on and chrome for the skin filter extension.

Sounds quite interesting. Can you elaborate on the Ghostery Chrome, which extensions and what problems it resolves?

It's just called Ghostery, look it up, it blocks trackers embedded in websites.

There is in built VPN button.  It will give u options to connect to diffrent servers locations...
If your ISP/country restricted website, you can acess it easily.

Is there any benefit to using it when in the US?

Opera's VPN gives you a choice of which country you want to use it from? (Otherwise how does it help to use it when you're in the US?)

Thank you for pointing that out.

The Epic Privacy Browser also has a VPN that allows you to choose which location you wish to use.

I used to use chrome but i was just introduced to brave.com, by a computer programmer I know (he called chrome evil) seems like it has a built in ad and tracker blocker which by default also speeds up the connection .
Anyone use it?

Chrome doesn't really allow adblocking, while the other 2 do, oprah has is built in.
Chrome and opera have data savers built in, while firefox has extensions that will do an ok job.
There are many differences, depends on what you want.
I left chrome when it was getting to heavy for the phone I had then and went to Firefox. I got used to the no ads (with an adblocking app), and they had built built in data savers then.
Once they removed the built in data savers and the extensions weren't doing a good enough job for me, I went to opera.
It's not perfect, but I use chrome when opera won't do the job
