For someone who wanted to upgrade or found a qualifying phone for the old $550 deal could have possibly came out ahead VS this deal for only $200.
 But then again $200 is better than nothing.
What's bestbuy and others offering?

I decided to go through Best Buy for that $550 trade in offer for my NOTE8. I had some gift certificates for Best Buy, plus a 10% coupon for my birthday. I pre-ordered and when I showed up tog et the phone on Sunday, they told me that they were mistaken about my pre-order status locking in the trade in offer. It expired on Saturday.. I was offered $163 for my Note 8, and a poor excuse of an apology.
