Thanks. I only ask bc I see they have an option when filing a complaint for credit cards that were closed by a company. I would assume they would only have that option if it actually helped to get it re-opened.
Got charged a 550 fee on the plat and shutdown 2 days later. They're refusing to refund the AF. Anything to do besides CFPB?
if i may ask what is the reason for the shutdown?
What's the difference?
BTDT, they say since it was shutdown I don't get refunded.
How long ago were your accounts closed? how many times did you HUCA?
2 weeks. 3 and a manager.
AFAIK you should be able to get it refunded (especially if it was closed within the 30 days of the charge) I would speak to a supervisor again, they are able to apply a credit manually.
Where do you know that from?
I got the refund on a few cards after being shut down.
Same here.My DW called on one card, the Rep said nothing doing, She asked for a supervisor who manually issued a refund, Today i noticed that the AF is credited twice..On a second card the AF is prorated without asking anything. My DW also asked if she could redeem the cash back that was still pending, the supervisor said that it is already forfeited, However we noticed today that the cash back is posted as a credit on the account...
This rep claims I'll be seeing the refund on my next statement...
DP from an FR shutdown are presumably different.
Did you have multiple of the same platinum card or self refer?
.My aspire got shut down (FR) approx. 2 months after opening, was refunded in full, do not know why.
Right away or at next statement?
