This is standard practice by this level of yeshivish ran yeshivos. The rosh will let everyone back in besides for 1-3 boys who he feels is ruining others. Who is YWN to report this ? What’s wrong with him ?

Yes. My grandfather went to the Chofetz Chaim’s levaya while learning in the mir. He met the mashgiach at the levaya and he got a screaming from him.( I don’t think he was even told not to go. It was a long trip there, so it is a bit different, but then again the chofetz chaim is greater then the skulener rebbe. ) put it this way, YWN has no place to state his opinion.
