AMEX PRG 75K MR Points Offer in mail

Got offer in mail today for wife. PRG 75K points. valid till 11/03/2011. spend $1000 in 3 months. Annual Fee $175 waived for first year. Bonus Offer ID : 6661.

1. Do I need to mail the application? or just apply online and ask them to put bonus ID, received in mail?
2. Can I call and get it done?
3. Which other AMEX best offers shall i sign up with 3BM? I know we will finish spend of $1000 soon, so better get more card with 1 pull. Advise on any other good offers from AMEX, which can be used with 3BM.
4. Is there any better AMEX offer out there? which I can ask for once I get this card?
5. How can I convince AMEX to get me the same offer as my wife? Call whom? Ask where?

When I got my PRG 75k in the mail, I just called and applied using the RSVP number that was on the pamphlet.

As has been discussed in a number of other threads, the AMEX bumping/matching game is over. You either like the current offer, get targeted, or move on.

Meanwhile for this card this is pretty much the best offer I believe. So no worries!  Lucky for you, you got targeted!

Not me. My wife got targeted. I am going to ask her to apply by phone. Then request the rep to sign me up for same offer. Will that work?

Wife applied by phone giving RSVP code. immediately offer came up to screen of rep on phone. verified all info. my wife re-verfied the promotion offer and asked rep to proceed with application. instant approval. rep told her card will be there tomorrow in UPS. towards the end wife was offered to refer any people, if she wants. she took that opportunity and referred me.

Now the sad part : I was offered standard 25K MR points (Not 75K like wife) for $1000 spend in 3 months. I didnt take it. I asked to put myself like my wife for similar offer. rep tried several option and came back saying he cannot do anything. asked me to go to amex website and put my details like e-mail. may be marketing will send me similar offer.
