This shows there are a lot of fake stamps in circulation.
Easy to forge and good , why not?
Once you have the machinery then your set, but what I don't understand if those that are forging these stamps, why make so many common errors? You have the equipment then make them exactly alike, it's not a dollar bill with watermarks and all.
Don't try to be someone else , be who you are because everyone else is taken.

On Amazon?

Yes, but now looking at the seller, seems to be suspended (https://www.amazon.com/sp?seller=A14E606SOL5GXM), and a new seller in his place with the same lightning deal prices.
They're selling book of 20 (and other books) for $8.50 which is 42.5 cents a stamp, which is 12.5 cent discount. Reasonable enough.
But as a 3p Amazon seller, it also means they are paying the 15% referral fee ($1.27) and the FBA fee of $2.41. Let's assume the seller is moving 3k units in this lightning deal, which costs $150 to run. So another 5 cents. That means the seller is left with $4.76, or 23.8 cents per stamp.

Too good to be true.

  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

95% of the time fakes go through.

But if you are mailing important stuff I would go with real stamps.

I know someone who had a bunch of wedding invitations returned..

Don't think I used them yet, bought them for when I would need later.
But thinking of just returning them, if they are intact.

Doesnít selling on amazon make it traceable? you might get away with it for a bit however the feds can find you if they want to.

This is 4 versions of this stamp.
The 2 on the left look like they're the same.

The bottom row is a 'book' not a roll from the Post Office.
The top row is my roll. (The same as the bottom left in the previous picture. )

Good luck with the feds tracing down Yin Wang from Zhejiang and bringing him to justice.

Not sure what you mean by left because the pic is upside down perhaps you meant right side up.
But if you mean the way itís shown here, the 2 on the left are not the same.

I mean the left 2 when it's right side up.
Look at the microprint USPS.  It's in different places on each one.
The crispness of the stripe also varies.

I know someone who had a bunch of wedding invitations returned..
Define a bunch? Every person I know under the sun who has sent out several hundred invitations, whether wedding or bar mitzvah, has had a "bunch" returned or not delivered. No matter what tactics you use a "bunch" get returned.

Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

I brought my booklet to the post office and asked them if it's legit, they barely took a look at it and said yes.
Seems like they don't care much.
