Hertz Free Day Vouchers

  • Must be used with CDP# printed on voucher (Which usually doesn't waive underage fee), Big YMMV.
  • You can use multiple voucher on a rental up to a max of 7 vouchers.
  • Some Blackout dates apply (Dec 25, July 4th etc)
  • You must still pay fees that apply, e.g. Airport fees or fed......fee.., taxes go by dollar amount, so because dollar amount would be only from fees, it would be very little, beware on the reservation page it will show the projected estimate to be higher
  • Can not be combined with any other PC#
  • Only give in the vouchers at the return and make sure they only credit it at the return, just in case there's an accident you want the CC to consider it as a paid rental. (anyone with a clearer and more concise way of writing that please feel free..)
  • its subject to black out dates which are discretionary!

How many can be used per rental?

And what are you selling them for?

Up to 4 can be used on any reservation worldwide!! Takes off $100 from base rate and then takes off some taxes and concession fees so usually ends up being a Savin of about $110-130 a rental!

Ime In nyc it includes tax.
Although in the quote it will charge tax.
But in other places they change tax.

Taxes always show online but when picking up the car they get removed (won't be printed on rental receipt).

All locations, nothing to do with NYC.  The only thing that might be on the rental is airport type fees if applicable (most of those get removed as well).

Yes, officially you need to hand in the vouchers when you return the car.

Although not always does the agent know to ask for it  :)

+1 hence some airports being better than others. For example renting with a week of vouchers will run you up a total of about $80 in Philly airport, but in Jfk about $20, and in LGA only about $3

Yes. Many times in Park Slope and a few times in Manhattan (W 4th street location). I know other people that successfully used them in other NYC locations.
